Where is MashSSL Applicable
The MashSSL Protocol can be used in virtually any situation where two web applications are communicating via a user's browser, and can protect the applications even in the presence of man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks or malicious users. We describe here the solutions we have implemented to date, namely integrating MashSSL with cross domain XHR, cross domain FLASH, OpenAJAX and OAuth. We also describe a situation where MashSSL is used directly between two applications (server to server). Finally, we also describe a somewhat different use case where we show how MashSSL can be used to leverage Kerberos on the web.

However, there are many more applications of MashSSL. For instance, as described in the White Paper, it can underlie a variety of Federation protocols, both simplifying them and making them more secure.
