SafeMashups Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. As of now these are our policies:

  1. If you are downloading the MashSSL Web Toolkit, we do not ask you for any personal information.
  2. If you use the Mashup/Cloud Trust Broker Beta (CTB) then the following policies apply:
    • You are asked for your first name, last name and email. This information will not be given or sold to any third party under any circumstances. We may in the future use the email to update you of changes or enhancements to CTB; if we do so we will give you option of opting out of receiving this email.
    • If you choose to get an Evaluation Only certificate from us, you are asked to enter information that is typically found in public SSL certificates. This information is inherently public, and is visible to other users of CTB (and to any web user who accesses your web site).
    • Your Access Control List is also available to any other user of CTB. We may add a "do not share my ACL" policy if there is demand for such a feature.
    • We run CTB using a popular cloud services vendor, and have made an attempt to keep the site secure. However, it is strongly recommended that until we complete our Beta and move to full production that you do not maintain any sensitive and private information on the site.
  3. We may use standard Web logging tools which may log your IP addresses. We may use this information to administer our web site and gather demographic information.
  4. Our web site contains links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content of those sites.
